Pre-Law Advising Appointments

Individual appointments are 30-minute meetings with the Pre-Law Advisor and are open to all students and alumni of the university, regardless of college.

Make an appointment if you:

  • are currently in the application process
  • have attended a drop-in but have more questions
  • want to review your personal statement/application (please follow instructions on appointment confirmation email to send documents 24 hours in advance of appointment for review)

Schedule an Appointment

If the online schedule is not showing availability, please email [email protected]. If you cannot log in to the appointment link because you no longer have access, see below. You can also call 612-624-3076 between 8:30 - 4:00 Monday thru Friday to schedule. You will be asked for your UMN Student ID, and former UMN email address.

For U of M Alumni

Great news! Pre-Law Services works with U of M alumni and can do so regardless of whether or not you have access to your U of M Gmail account. Please complete the following steps to make your appointment schedule process as smooth as possible. 

  • Before scheduling an appointment: Check to see whether your U of M Gmail account is still active. You will be asked whether you still have access during the intake process, as this will determine how you receive the appointment Zoom link.
  • How to schedule your appointment: Use the same scheduling links above as current students use! In many cases, your login and password will still work, even if you no longer have access to your email.
  • If you cannot access the appointment scheduling link: Please call 612-624-3076 between 8:30 - 4:00 Monday thru Friday to schedule. You will be asked for your UMN Student ID, and former UMN email address.
  • Before your appointment: If you are using your U of M Zoom account, please make sure the account is still active. If it is not, you can follow these instructions to set up a personal Zoom account to be able to access the appointment.
