UMN: BA in Political Science, Minors in Management and Business Law '22
Law School: Georgetown University Law Center
How did you choose your law school?
I considered my post-law school goals, location preferences, practice area interests, which learning environments I learn the best in, the people I wanted to be around, the administration's involvement in student life, career planning resources, ranking/reputation, scholarship, and a feeling of "the right fit".
What advice do you have for students/recent alums as they begin the application process?
APPLY EARLY!!!! I cannot stress enough how important it is to have your applications in as soon as possible. With that, make sure your application materials are as refined as possible. If you need to retake the LSAT, do it (I took it 3 times). Make sure your personal statement tells a cohesive and compelling narrative that effectively portrays your professionalism, prospects, and personality.
Did you take time off between undergrad and law school? If so, What did you do in that time?
I did not take time off.
